Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Scarab Knife, Part Serrated, CR-1141
The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Scarab Knife, designed by acclaimed knifemaker Allen Elishewitz. This Scarab knife features a 3.25" part serrated modified spear point blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .14" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective bead blast finish, a gold plated Elishewitz logo inset, a thumb stud and the OutBurst assist for one hand opening. The injection molded black Zytel handle with blue and gray swirl CPL inlays, 4.25" closed, has a stainless steel InterFrame build with a liner lock and LAWKS knife safety. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The CRKT Scarab Knife with part serrated blade has an overall length of 7.50" when open and weighs 4.9 ounces.
CPL is a tough, hard composite-similar to that used in modern bowling balls. Each inlay will have a unique pattern.
