Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Side Hawg 1 Knife, Black, CR-2403K
The illustrated CRKT Knife is the Black CRKT Side Hawg 1 Knife, designed by Mike Franklin. The Black CRKT Side Hawg 1 Knife features single piece 420J2 stainless steel construction with all over non reflective black EDP coat. This CRKT Knife has a 1.625" chisel ground modified drop point fixed blade, .15" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 54-56, and a notched thumb rest. The handle is drilled to lessen weight and it has a pronounced finger choil. The flat Zytel sheath plate of this CRKT knife has a stainless steel post, saddle clip, nylon strap and carabiner. The saddle clip keeps the blade edge safely sealed against the sheath plate. To release the Side Hawg 1 Knife, press down, rotate the knife on the post, and lift off for use. The Black CRKT Side Hawg 1 Knife has an overall length of 4.375", and weighs 1.8 ounces.
