Colt Knives: Colt Assisted Opening Knives

The Colt Knives with assisted opening included the Colt Fire Fighter, Colt Police Task Force, and the Colt AR-15-K knives with Rockloc assist. The patent pending Rockloc assisted opening mechanism was designed by Rocky Moser. A push on the thumb stud engages the Rockloc, which takes over to open the blade to its full, locked position. Each of the Colt Knives with the Rockloc assisted opening mechanism feature 440 stainless steel tanto blades with dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handles are made of color anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with non slip Magna-grip inserts. The Colt Assisted Opening Knives are proudly made in the USA.

Editor's note: the Rockloc assist takes a greater amount of travel through the blade arc than most other assisted openers before it kicks into action.
