The illustrated Cold Steel Knife is the Cold Steel Kwaiken Knife, a reproduction of a knife that originated in ancient feudal Japan, often carried by the nobility and the Samurai class. The Cold Steel Kwaiken Knife has a 6 3/4" fixed blade made of hand forged Damascus steel, 6.75mm thick. The Kwaiken Knife has a short handle made of black lacquered wood, with a buffalo horn bolster, and a traditional bamboo peg to retain the blade inside. A black lacquered wood sheath is included with this Cold Steel knife. The Cold Steel Kwaiken Knife has an overall length of 10 1/8", and weighs 4.2 ounces.
