The illustrated Cold Steel Knife is the Cold Steel Black Talon II Knife, designed by Lynn Thompson and Andrew Demko, that features a 4" serrated reverse S style blade made of Carpenter CTS XHP stainless steel, 3.5mm thick. The blade of this Cold Steel knife has a satin finish and a thumb plate for ambidextrous one hand opening and opening on withdrawal. The textured black G10 handle, 5 1/2" closed, has a notched thumb rest for secure grip, the ambidextrous Tri-Ad lock and a lanyard hole. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Cold Steel knife. The Cold Steel Black Talon II Knife has an overall length of 9 1/2" when open, and it weighs 4.8 ounces.
