The red, white and blue Kirinite Patriot handle of this Case knife, 4 1/4" closed, has a nickel silver oval Case Shield and nickel silver bolsters. After many years of carrying a Case Medium Stockman, I took a chance on the Case Large Stockman. I'm glad I shopped around and found the Kirinite Patriot version of this knife. I purchased this from Knives Plus because they were the best value. I received this in a short two days after being shipped and could not be happier with this knife! The Kirinite Patriot scales are simply beautiful, especially in full daylight. The Case quality is evident in every aspect of this knife. Each of the blades were factory sharpened to a literal Razor's edge and this is the first knife I've not had to spend any time with my sharpening stones and ceramics to achieve this level of sharpness right out of the box. The only negative with this knife is having the squared ends. These will wear a hole in a pants pocket in a short time. I've made a leather friction sheath for this reason and so far the leather has protected both the knife at work and the wearing out of my pockets. An impressive knife
