The illustrated Case Ertl Truck is the 2006 Case Ertl Truck that features a (06263SS) Eisenhower Case Knife and Miniature 1956 Ford Pick Up Truck. The Eisenhower Case Knife features spear and pen blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel. The spear blade has Dwight D Eisenhower signature etch. The Jigged Bermuda Green Bone handle of this Case knife, 3 1/8" closed, has a nickel silver Case shield, and nickel silver bolsters. The 2006 Case Ertl Truck is limited to 2500 serial numbered sets.
Editors note: The first edition Case Ertl Truck was a 1932 Ford Delivery Van produced in 1995. It sold for $49.99. It did not come with a knife but was a coin bank. This first edition now sells easily for $450.00 - $600.00. The yearly editions are a separate line from the other Ertl trucks; they are somewhat more collectable and much harder to obtain. The illustrated Case Ertl Truck is the 12th edition in the series. Very Limited Quantities.
