Case knives is one of the first traditional knife companies to use the high tech G10 handle material on its traditional knife patterns. Normally, we only see G10 with a black color and bead blasted textured finish- usually on custom made or tactical style knives. But Case, with its customary attention to detail, has taken this high-tech material, colored it orange, polished it to a smooth finish, and put it on some of their best selling knives. G10 is an exceptionally strong, lightweight material, and with the bright orange color, there is no way you'll lose this puppy in the grass or on a city street. As with all Case Knife "first time produced items", we feel these will be good investments for collectors and users alike.
The Case Orange G10 (102154SS) Tiny Trapper Knife features clip and spey blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical steel. The bright Orange G10 handle, 2 3/8" closed, has a nickel silver shield and nickel silver bolsters. G10 is a highly compressed epoxy resin and glass fiber composite. The resulting material is exceptionally strong, has thermal insulating properties, and is impervious to most chemicals. The Case Orange G10 Tiny Trapper Knife weighs .9 ounce.
