The illustrated Case Ertl Truck is the Case C Platts' Sons Ertl Truck that features a (6208SS) Case Half Whittler Knife and miniature 1925 Kenworth Stake Truck. The Case Half Whittler Knife features clip and pen blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical steel. The Jigged Burnt Sugar Bone handle of this Case knife has a nickel silver propeller shield and nickel silver bolsters. The Case C Platts' Ertl Truck is limited to 2500 serial numbered sets.
Editors note: The first edition Case Ertl Truck was a 1932 Ford Delivery Van produced in 1995. It sold for $49.99. It did not come with a knife but was a coin bank. This first edition now sells easily for $450.00 - $600.00. The yearly editions are a separate line from the other Ertl trucks; they are somewhat more collectable and much harder to obtain. Very Limited Quantities.
