Camillus started the Classic Cartridge Series in 1991. Each Classic Cartridge Series Knife features a popular rifle cartridge shield, with the cartridge dimensions blueprint etched on one of the blades. These knives are assembled on Remington frames but with genuine jigged bone handles. (Some of you may already know that Camillus makes most all of the Remington bullet knives.)
The Camillus Classic Cartridge Series .45 Colt Knife is the fifth knife in the Camillus Classic Cartridge Series. It features a 2 1/2" clip blade and 2 1/2" spey blade made of 440A stainless steel. The "Camillus Classic Cartridge" etch is located on the clip blade and the .45 Colt blueprint is located on the spey blade. The jigged bone handle has a nickel silver bolster, brass liners, and an authentic .45 Colt cartridge head shield with inert primer.
