Camillus started the Classic Cartridge Series in 1991. Each Classic Cartridge Series Knife features a popular rifle cartridge shield, with the cartridge dimensions blueprint etched on one of the blades. These knives are assembled on Remington frames but with genuine jigged bone handles. (Some of you may already know that Camillus makes most all of the Remington bullet knives.)
The Camillus Classic Cartridge Series .257 Roberts Knife is the fourth knife in the Camillus Classic Cartridge Series. It features a 3 3/4" clip blade and 2 5/8" pen blade made of 440A stainless steel. The clip blade has the "Camillus Classic Cartridge" etch on the mark side and the .257 Robert blueprint on the pile side. The jigged bone handle, 5 5/16" closed, has nickel silver bolsters and pins, and an authentic .257 Roberts cartridge head shield with inert primer. The Camillus Classic Cartridge Series .257 Roberts Knife has an overall length of 9 1/2" when open.
