The illustrated Buck Knife is the Buck SpitFire Knife that features a 3 1/4" drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel, .120" thick. This blade of this Buck knife has a top swedge, a notched thumb rest for secure grip and a hole for amdidextrous one hand opening. The slim Green anodized aluminum handle, 4 1/4" closed, has a contrasting colored back spacer, a lockback and a lanyard hole. A side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip is included with this Buck Knife. The Buck SpitFire Knife with plain edge blade and Green handle has an overall open length of 7 1/2", and it weighs 3.2 ounces. Made in the USA.

The Buck Spitfire is a fine EDC pocket knife. The fact that Buck knives are USA made and not Chinese imports is a selling point. Knives Plus offers great prices for the same product offered by other retailers at almost double the price.
Some people like one-handed closing knives (mostly men). But I like the safety of the lock-back lock system. You can close the Spitfire with one hand if you like. But I like the two-handed approach (maybe it's a woman thing), and the Spitfire provides me with that added safety.

I purchased the orange SpitFire a couple of weeks ago and decided to get the green one, because I liked it so much. Solid built Knife with easy deployment and strong lockup when open. The slim profile and sharp blade make this a good EDC, really like the way it feels in my hand. With Bucks Lifetime warranty you can't go wrong buying this knife.
