Buck Knives: Buck Strider Knife, Strider FB, BU-890TX
The illustrated Buck Knife is the Buck Strider FB Knife that features a 6 5/8" part serrated tanto blade made of 420HC stainless steel. The blade of this Buck Knife has a non reflective black oxide coat and notched thumb rest for secure grip. The Buck Strider FB Knife has full tang construction with black G10 scales. A dual position Kydex sheath is included with this Buck Knife. The Buck Strider FB Knife has an overall length of 11 7/8" and it weighs 16.6 ounces.
Buck Striders are tough SOBs. They are thick, beefy and made to Mick Strider's specifications. If you're not big and rugged, these knives may not be for you! The handles have a coarse, aggressive texture for real grip and use, and the handle edges are somewhat sharp. Mick Strider says: "If you don't like sharp edged handles--sand them down yourself." The leading edge of the tanto folders is more for strength breaching and prying than cutting. Some of our more dainty customers will not like these knives! But if you look in the mirror and see a two day growth of stubble, a Copenhagen stain at the corner of your lip, and hard calluses on your hands, this may be your knife!
