The illustrated Buck Rush Knife features a 2 1/2" part serrated drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel. The blade on this Buck knife has dual thumb studs, a blade release ridge, and ASAP assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The skeletonized Midnight Blue anodized aluminum handle, 3 3/4" closed, has a liner lock and Cam Lock safety. A stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Buck knife. The Buck Rush Knife has an overall length of 6 3/8" when open, and weighs 2.4 ounces.
Assisted-opening knives typically have a spring or tension mechanism for blade deployment. Buck Engineers have created an advanced design resulting in ASAP (Advanced Spring Assisted Performance) technology with a dual-spring blade pivot.
