Boker Knives: Boker KAL AK 47 and AK 74 Knives, Designed by Dietmar Pohl


Boker has secured exclusive rights from Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov to produce a series of knives with design elements that are based on his famed Automat Kalashnikov rifle.

The Boker KAL AK 47 and AK 74 Series of knives were designed by Dietmar Pohl. The KAL AK 47 knives feature upswept bowie blades made of 440C stainless steel, styled after the bayonet used with the AK 47 rifle, and anodized T6 aluminum handles with inlays. The KAL AK 74 knives are made for the Boker Magnum Line with AUS8 stainless steel drop point blades, styled after the bayonet of the AK 74 rifle, and finger grooved aluminum handles.
