The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Benchmade Mini Ambush Knife, designed by Mel Pardue. The Mini Ambush knife features a 2.96" drop point utility blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .118" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade of this Benchmade knife has a notched thumb rest for secure grip and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The textured black thermoplastic handle, 3.98" closed, has double stainless steel liners and a Rolling Lock. A side to side reversible black steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The Benchmade Mini Ambush Knife has an overall open length of 6.94", and weighs 2.86 ounces.
