The Bear and Son Cutlery Gold Rush Bowie knife features a 9 1/2" high carbon stainless steel, 5mm thick, hollow ground, clip point blade attached to a Cocobola wood handle with an S guard. The overall length of the knife is 14 3/4" and weighs 21.6 ounces. A leather sheath is also included.

This is the newest member of Bear & Son Cutlery's line of Bowies. While this is a new item for Bear & Son Cutlery this knife has a rich history. In last 2007 Bear & Son Cutlery purchased the tooling from the Camillus auction. What is unique about this knife is the tooling was not original Camillus tooling the tooling was actually purchase by Camillus in the 90's from Western when Western Cutlery Company closed. This has always been one of the most popular Bowie's ever produced.
