Bear and Son Knives: Bear Midsize Lockback Knife, Pearl Damascus, BC-805D
The illustrated Bear Knife is the Bear Midsize Lockback Knife that features a 2 3/4" clip point blade made of Damascus steel. The genuine Mother of Pearl handle of this Bear Knife, 3 3/4" closed, has brass liners, nickel silver bolsters and lockback. The Bear and Son Midsize Lockback Knife has an overall length of 6 1/2".
Bear Damascus is made in the U.S.A. Bear and Son Knives is the only commercial knife manufacturer offering knives with Damascus blades.
All Mother of Pearl handles will vary in color, which is part of the uniqueness of natural handle materials.
Editor's note: Bear and Son's uses a random pattern Damascus steel. Each blade surface will be as unique as a man's fingerprint. Bear Damascus is produced by forging layers of high and low carbon steels. The resulting patterns will be subtle and unique.
