The illustrated Al Mar knife is the Al Mar Backup Knife, designed by ABS Mastersmith Kirk Rexroat, that features a 4" talon fixed blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .16" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The blade of this Al Mar knife has a notched thumb ramp for secure grip. The Backup knife has full tang construction with black Micarta handle scales. A genuine leather sheath is included with this Al Mar knife. The Al Mar Backup Knife with talon blade has an overall length of 8.5" and weighs 4 ounces.
