The 1003CT Al Mar Falcon Talon Knife features a 3.15 inch drop point blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .08 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The blade of this Al Mar knife has a false top edge, Al Mar logo design, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The genuine Cocobolo wood handle, 4 inches closed, has brass liners, a stainless steel bolster, the Al Mar Front Lock, and a lined lanyard hole. A genuine leather pouch is included. This knife is a very nice mid-size folder. The cocobolo scales are smooth and a nice accent to the silver bolster. Nice clean lines, especially along the top of the blade and handle. The thumb stud helps with opening. This knife is a definite candidate for every-day carry. The only draw back is that it does not have a pocket clip. However, it does have a hole to attached a lanyard to help pull the knife from a pocket.
