Old Hickory Knives: It's hard to find the old timey style carbon steel kitchen knives like they had years ago. Well, Ontario Knife Company still makes these knives from high carbon steel here in the good old USA. The Old Hickory line has been around for longer than 100 years, longer than most of our Grandfathers. Brass riveted hardwood handles, fully heat treated 1095 tool steel blades with a distinctive rolled in forged look texture. Caution, high carbon steel will rust if not properly cared for. Clean and oil after use, and keep out of the dishwasher.
The illustrated Old Hickory knife is a paring knife with a 3" blade.
