Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four Star Kitchen Knives-why are they so good? There are three different steels bonded together to form the Four Star blade. The edge is formed from an extra hard steel to hold the edge, the back of the blade is formed from a flexible steel to withstand the stress of use, and the tang and handle piece are forged for extra strength where it is needed. Together, these three materials make one of the best kitchen knives available.
J.A. Henckels Four Star Knives feature: ice hardened (Friodur) high carbon stainless steel blades, full rat tail tang construction, and high impact polypropylene handles that are permanently bonded to the tang-no gaps or seams.
